Day 152: Summer Might Be Here !
Time for a new mission statement. My goal for 2025 was to lose 100 pounds by 12-31-25 but I've failed miserably. At some point I need to pick myself up and try. A realistic goal at this point is 50 pounds by 12-31-25, so that is where I will start. When will I start ? I don't know .. do I need a "starting point" ? I don't. Every day that I don't "start" just adds to my misery. I plan to just take each day as it comes and do what I can to move closer to where I want to be. Life has changed and I haven't been able to adapt just yet.
I was up shortly after 9 today and it looked like it was going to be a cloudy gloomy day. Well, it's 2:30 now and the sun has been out for a while. It's 77 degrees too ! The high for tomorrow is a whopping 88 but then we drop back to the mid 70's Thursday. I'm ok with that ! I made my bed when I got up and then fed Minnie. Mama cat did not show up to eat today. I've checked several times to see if she was out there but nothing so far. I also haven't seen her kittens in a few days. None of the male cats have been around either, so I'm thinking mama cat is pregnant again and therefore they have no interest in her. I think someone else may be feeding her sporadically and she only comes to me when she's hungry. I'm hoping maybe someone trapped her kittens and will find them homes. Hard to say.
Anyhow, I spent the entire morning playing the online slots. I did get dressed and make my protein shake, so the next step is to put my shoes on and get on the treadmill. I wanted to start this blog first.
Yesterday was a good day but I never got to cleaning the laundry room and kitchen. That is on the schedule for today ! From a food perspective, I was good yesterday ! No candy, no food in bed AND I brushed my teeth at bedtime ! I didn't want to, but I forced myself too and I was really happy about that ! I was hungry at bedtime so I had an 80 calorie yogurt with whipped cream. I was well under my calories for the day, so that's why I was hungry.
Breakfast today was 180 calorie waffled with sugar free syrup. Later I had an 80 calorie yogurt. Lunch was a 220 calorie pepperoni pizza melt with a Diet Coke.
I'm finding myself really bored with YouTube content lately. Post 10 doesn't seem to be putting in much effort to make content and I really miss that. He's got a girlfriend and he's growing up and maybe I miss that lonely guy out in the wilderness. Perhaps his former loneliness resonated with my lonely self. I've watched all the content that Saskdutchkid, 10thGenDairy, Sandi Brock (Sheepishly Me) and LetsDig18 have posted, so now I'm at the point of waiting for new videos. Drain Addict and Steve the plumber have gotten boring too. I started watching a new channel, theoutdoorgearreview, but the guy is so full of himself and I think he fakes a lot of his content so I unsubscribed from the channel. I also unsubscribed from 3 of the 4 slot channels I followed. I only kept NG Slots because I don't mind watching his videos and mom really liked him. I also dumped two channels for live cams at RR crossings and a port in the Midwest. I pay for the Disney+ and Hulu bundle but never watch it. I like to have the tv as background noise and you can't really put on a tv show or movie for that. I need to find some new channels !
It's 3:34 now so I'm going to put my shoes on and hit the treadmill !
It's 4:11 pm now and I just got done with my workout ! It was 13m38s with the usual 6 minutes of WU/CD. It's 80 degrees outside right now and I had to drag out a table fan for the living room.
